Capturing the Essence of Andy Warhol's BMW Art Car
Retro-inspired Poster Series
As an art director I had the amazing opportunity to be part of an exciting project featuring Andy Warhol's BMW art car. Teaming up with The Autofocus production house for BMW India, we photographed this iconic masterpiece at the renowned India Art Fair in 2020.
Our mission was to capture the car's vibrant energy and artistic flair through photography. We wanted to bring out that retro vibe while staying true to the cutting-edge design of the BMW art car. With careful attention to detail and lighting, We aimed to transport viewers to a nostalgic era intertwined with contemporary aesthetics.
Building on the captured images, I delved into designing a series of retro-inspired posters. By selecting colours, typography, and graphics that paid homage to the era that inspired Andy Warhol's art, I added a fresh twist to the overall presentation.
This project allowed me to explore the fascinating fusion of art, design, and automobiles—my true passions. I'm excited to share this journey with you, and I hope my work brings forth a world where art and automobiles seamlessly coexist.
